The Linda Hall Library is co-sponsoring a free event with Science Pioneers of Union Station for high school students interested in engineering careers, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Linda Hall Library.
“How Do I Become (an Engineer?)” will include a one-hour panel discussion and Q&A with engineers from local firms, followed by a networking opportunity with representatives from the schools of engineering at the University of Kansas, University of Missouri-Kansas City, Kansas State University, Missouri Western State University, William Jewell College, and Metropolitan Community College. Students will have an opportunity get academic and career advice.
